The Red Parrot Cichlid (Blood Parrot) is a popular hybrid cichlid known for its bright orange red coloration and distinctive rounded body shape. With their expressive faces and interactive personalities, they quickly become the centerpiece of large freshwater aquariums.
Red Parrots are intelligent and often recognize their owners, especially during feeding time. While not as aggressive as some large cichlids, they are territorial and require adequate space.Due to their hybrid origin, they may have a slightly smaller mouth shape, so proper pellet size selection is important.
