Description
The Flowerhorn Cichlid is one of the most striking and sought after aquarium fish in the hobby. Famous for its large head hump vibrant colors, and unique body markings, this hybrid cichlid is known as a symbol of luck and prosperity in many Asian cultures.
Flowerhorns are intelligent, interactive fish that often recognize their owners and respond during feeding time. Due to their territorial and aggressive behavior, they are best kept alone in a species only aquarium.
Each specimen develops unique coloration, kok size, and pearling patterns as it matures.
