Description
The Electric Blue Jack Dempsey (Rocio octofasciata) is a stunning color morph of the classic Jack Dempsey cichlid. Known for its intense neon blue coloration and shimmering scales, this fish is a showpiece in any large freshwater aquarium.
Compared to the standard variety, the Electric Blue variant is often slightly less aggressive but still territorial. They are intelligent, interactive fish that quickly recognize their owners and display bold personalities.Due to selective breeding, this variety can be more sensitive than the standard Jack Dempsey, requiring stable water conditions and high quality care.
