Description

The Congo Tetra (Phenacogrammus interruptus) is a stunning African tetra known for its shimmering rainbow coloration and flowing fins. Males display elongated dorsal and tail fins with vibrant iridescent hues of blue, gold, and violet, making them a true showpiece in larger community aquariums.
These fish are peaceful and thrive in schools of at least 6 or more. Their reflective scales look especially striking under soft lighting in planted tanks.Because of their size and active swimming behavior, they require more space than smaller tetra species.
